Learn New Words By Playing
Throughout time the ways of learning have been changing, one of the most important tools for children and young people to learn new vocabulary is through interactive games, what we will achieve with this is the following:
Cognitive development: Play stimulates imagination and creativity, which allows children to relate their own actions to the results obtained.
Development of social skills: By playing, children interact with other people, which will allow them to understand the importance of relating to others.
Improved comprehension and ability to concentrate: In order to play, children need to understand the rules and mechanics of the game. Their interest in participating makes them aware of all aspects involved, increasing their ability to concentrate.
Learning the language quickly and with a wider vocabulary: To interact with their playmates, children are forced to express themselves correctly, this means knowing how to listen and pay attention to others, which allows them to learn new words to communicate accurately.
Encourage the ability to express themselves in public: The different situations that occur in the game, imply that the child, at times, has to indicate their point of view on how to solve each challenge, getting used to express, contrast and defend their opinions clearly to their peers, whether children or adults.
